I recently discovered that Chad as well as other highly-skilled doctors are a part of a non-profit organization called Angel Missions Haiti. Angel Missions Haiti is a faith-based non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that’s sole purpose is to care for some of the most impoverished children in Haiti.

I was so blown away with their work, I instantly decided to partner with them and use my “virtual birthday party” as a tool to raise money for their efforts. Instead of receiving birthday gifts, I’m asking my friends and family, people like YOU, to make a contribution toward my…correction…OUR… goal of raising $3300.

What will my donation go toward?

Here is an example of how your donation will be spent.

These are just the food items. They still need money for medical supplies (which are much more expensive) and the maintenance costs for their building.

The more money we raise, the better and faster they can serve the children of Haiti.

Is this donation tax-deductible?

Because my organization is collecting the funds, your donation will officially go through me, not the non-profit organization. Therefore, it will not be tax-deductible.

Can I give directly to the organization?

If you are so inclined, sure. I prefer to make a presentation on behalf of “all of us” around the world who have chosen to pool our money, but I won’t stand in your way. I am about the end result, not getting credit.
